Mission Statement

The mission of the White County, Georgia, "Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Department" is to provide safe, clean, and user-friendly facilities to the employees, citizens, and visitors that come in daily for work and services. We work diligently to keep our county facilities upgraded with the latest cost-effective and efficient products and materials.
  

Responsibilities

The Buildings and Grounds Maintenance Department services 14+ County Facilities and oversees landscaping at the County Facilities, along with Parks and Recreation sites, which includes the 1000 acre Yonah Preserve.
    

Employee/Departmental Maintenance Requests

If you have a maintenance request for the Buildings and  Grounds Maintenance Department, please complete and submit our Online Maintenance Request Form. No requests (except emergencies) shall be taken over the phone. This form is to be used for the following types of requests and will be prioritized according to need and/or severity of the request:

  • Building Repairs (Interior and Exterior)
  • Grounds Requests
  • Janitorial (Services and Supplies)
