Solid Waste Transfer Station Operation, Transportation & Disposal Request for Proposal
The White County Board of Commissioners is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the long-term operation of the White County Solid Waste Transfer Station. The operations include four separate areas:
- Pushing and Loading Solid Waste, Recyclables, or other forms of accepted materials
- Solid Waste Transportation, (Tractor Trailer Services)
- Solid Waste Transportation, (Roll Off Services)
- Landfill Disposal Fee to an EPD Approved Landfill
Bidders may submit proposals on one or more of the four items. Bidders are not required to submit proposals for all four areas of work. White County may choose to select individual firms to provide separate services, or award to a single firm, depending on the best interest of the county.

The mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on November 16, 2023, at 2:00pm at the White County Administration Building, 1235 Helen Highway, Cleveland, GA 30528. The time was published incorrectly as 10:00am in the White County News Legal Section.
