Planning Commission

The Planning Commission meets to discuss variance applications, land use (zoning) applications and variances, and applicable plat approvals.

Meeting Dates

Typically the White County Planning Commission meets twice a month to hold public hearings and various working and regular sessions. If a scheduled meeting falls on a holiday, then the meeting will be rescheduled for a date determined by the Planning Commission.

Work Sessions and Public Hearings are held on the last Monday of each month.
Regular Sessions are held on the first Monday of each month.

At the pre-application meeting, the staff helps the applicant understand the process and what is necessary to successfully complete an application.
