Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Sports Management from Emmanuel College, emphasizing her understanding of the relationship between physical activity and recreation management. She further enhanced her expertise with a Master's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from Clemson University, where her focus was on developing strategies for efficient and inclusive recreational programs.

Continuing her dedication to continuous learning and professional development, Kim is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. This commitment to intellectual growth allows her to navigate complex organizational challenges and lead her team with a visionary approach.

With over 20 years of experience, Kim previously served as the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for Banks County. During her tenure, she displayed exceptional leadership, successfully developing and implementing various recreational initiatives that enriched the community's quality of life.

Through her dedication and hard work, Kim has earned the distinction as a Certified Park and Recreation Executive, a Certified Youth Sports Administrator, and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector. These esteemed certifications demonstrate her deep understanding of industry best practices and her commitment to maintaining high standards in park management and public safety.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kim holds a genuine passion for public recreation. She firmly believes in the power of parks and recreational activities to foster a healthy and vibrant community. In her free time, she indulges in outdoor pursuits such as kayaking, hiking, and fishing. Additionally, she finds joy in spending quality time with her rescue dogs, further emphasizing her compassion and commitment to the well-being of others, both human and furry.
