Onsite Inspections & Notice
In accordance with Georgia law, the White county Board of Assessors is required to notify property owners prior to inspecting their property. Written notice is hereby provided in the following Notice of Inspection Document. Inspected individuals may include, but not be limited to the following:
- Properties having an active building permit
- Properties containing an active appeal
- Neighborhoods where properties are sold in any year
If you believe your property will be the subject of a site review, you may contact the Tax Assessor's Office and make a specific appointment for your site.
In order to provide for the safety of property owners and Tax Assessor staff, members of the appraisal team carry official government identification and drive an official White County vehicle with the county seal prominently displayed on the driver and passenger doors. Appraisers will accomplish their objectives in as timely and unobtrusive a manner as possible.
