Title Replacement

In order to apply for a replacement title in White County, a vehicle must have a current Georgia title. If the vehicle is titled in another state, the owner must file a request with that state's appropriate agency. When filling for a Georgia replacement title, the following documents are required:

  • Title Application (MV-1)
  • Lien/Security Interest Release (if applicable)
  • Valid Georgia Driver's License or ID

Please notice that a fee of $8 is required to purchase a replacement title.
