Subdivision Regulations

The Planning Department is also responsible for the regulation of land and development in subdivisions. Responsibilities include requirements for various components of subdivisions such as streets, plat and block sizes, and utilities. Additional approval outside of the Planning Department, such as Public Works or Environmental Health, may be required. Please note that the Planning Department does not record approved plats. Plat recording is done through the Clerk of Court.
